Registration

Registration Deadline was extended to June 14th, 2018.  Online Registration Is now CLOSED.

“Walk ins” (aka. attendees that do not register through this page before the registration deadline) will not be turned away, but will be charged $100 regardless of status, payment due immediately (brought to the conference) and may not be guaranteed all amenities.  Refunds will not be honored after the deadline. Bottom line, please register and pay before the deadline so we can plan accordingly and not have to chase anyone down.  These measures help keep costs affordable for all.  ?

Instructions (please read carefully): This year’s registration is “a la carte” style like years past.  Click on the links below to help you register to attend the conference, exhibit and/or register for pre-conference activities.  You will be taken to the “EPCAMR store” to add registration items from this page.  Once you have selected an item you may return to this page to add additional items to your online shopping cart or continue adding items in the store under the “Registrations” category.  The items in the store are also marked as “Featured Items”.  Tip:  Please do not use your browser’s “Back” button in the store, as it can delete the order you are building. Once you are done, go through the checkout to view your items and finish the registration process.  You may pay by check/money order and send in your printed registration via snail mail to the information below.   OR… pay with credit or debit card using our online payment gateway, PayPal.  You do not need a PayPal account to use a card.  Choose “pay with debit or credit card” option when the store transfers you to PayPal.

Tour Option 1 – AML Bus Tour: $20 non-profit*, $30 regular

This item reserves one (1) registration for the Bus Tour (Wednesday, June 20th 7AM – 4PM) Extra Conference Activity: A tour of a limestone quarry, Fisherman’s Paradise and a distillery. Wednesday Dinner and Thursday Conference Attendance are extra and are purchased separately.

 

AMR Conference Dinner: $10 non-profit*, $20 regular

This item reserves one (1) registration for the AMR Conference Dinner (Wednesday, June 20th 6PM – 8PM) at the Ramada Inn and Conference Center, State College, PA. Please join us to celebrate our long-standing evening networking tradition when AML folks from all across the state and beyond get together to break bread.  Wednesday Tours and Thursday Conference Attendance are extra and are purchased separately.

Conference (Thursday, June 21st)

AMR Conference Registration: $30 non-profit*, $65 regular

This item is for one (1) Registration (Thursday, June 21st 7AM – 5PM) for the Abandoned Mine Reclamation Conference at the Ramada Inn and Conference Center, State College, PA. This registration guarantees you attendance at the conference and access to all amenities being provided by the conference. The registration includes a 20th Anniversary t-shirt to tie-dye, but there is an option to purchase one already tie-dyed for an additional $10.  Each attendee must be registered separately.  We need to know a shirt size.  Wednesday Tours and Dinner Attendance are extra and are purchased separately.

Exhibitors (Wednesday, June 20th to Thursday, June 21st)

AMR Conference Exhibit Space: $200 standard, $300 large, $400 jumbo or $0 non-profit**

This item entitles the purchaser to one (1) exhibit at the Abandoned Mine Reclamation Conference at the Ramada Inn and Conference Center, State College, PA. Electricity can be requested, but you may need to bring your own 10′ extension cord. Please notify conference planning staff if you plan to bring a stand-alone exhibit and therefore do not need a table. This item does not include a registration for the conference or any amenities that a conference registration provides (i.e. meals). Registrations to attend the conference, dinner and tours are purchased separately.

*You may be asked to verify your nonprofit status if there is a question by the conference committee. Government employees are included in this category.

**Non-Profit exhibits are free, but space is limited and first come first serve. You may be asked to verify your nonprofit status if there is a question by the conference committee. Continuing Education Credits

Professional development hours will be offered and certificates will be presented by the PA AMR Conference Planning Committee (specifically for professional geologists, engineers and surveyors). Attendees that wish to participate may ask for the paperwork at the registration desk.  Credit hours will be assessed upon time of departure and approved via an authorized signature.  Presenters at the Conference are eligible to receive additional credits beyond attending sessions at the Conference.
